The story

Born in a Middle East to tell the stories around the world.

Salwa was born in Dubai in 2019. Five years there, a season away, and now makes its move in Bangkok. The new collection arrives this spring. Each piece is made by hand in small batches. Each stone is chosen for the way it holds light — not for the sound it makes.

In Islam, Salwa is a female name that carries one of the most important meanings — the one who carries away sorrow, helps to heal wounds. As a reminder that everything is temporary we also believe memories are the biggest gift, and help to heal as well as keep us human.
